Treatment marketing plays by stricter rules
A general agency learns these on your account. We built our process around them.
-
Ads need certification
Google requires LegitScript certification, then its own, before an addiction treatment provider can advertise. We prepare applications and renewals with your team; approval decisions belong to LegitScript and Google.
-
Health content gets checked
Google and AI answers weigh who stands behind clinical claims. Credentials, licenses and real clinicians help decide who gets seen.
-
Tracking carries risk
The people on your site are patients and families. Pixels and recordings can expose them, so we set tracking up with that in mind. Form contents never reach analytics or ad platforms.
Built only for behavioral healthcare
Every strategy, report and page we build starts from levels of care, admissions workflows and the rules your industry plays by. We don’t take clients outside it.

Why providers choose TDI
Five reasons, in the order they matter to the programs we work with.
Admission-minded marketing directors
Your TDI team works like an in-house marketing director who thinks in admissions: levels of care, admissions workflows and the programs you offer.
Measured in admissions, not activity
We report what an admission costs you, using the admission counts your team provides, not clicks or cheap leads.
Your clinicians are the strategy
Google and AI answers reward real expertise. We put your clinicians, licenses and accreditations at the center of your site, and, on topics they approve, put their expertise forward to national publications.
A system, not heroics
Weekly quality checks in every department, scorecards for each outcome, and a ranking matrix that scores 40 factors for their impact on Google and on AI answers, so we know what to do first.
Responsible innovation, human-decided
We put new search and AI tools to work as they prove useful, like scoring every ranking factor for AI answers as well as Google. Our Client Intellect Hub brings nine data sources into one view, and a strategist owns every decision, because the stakes are clinical, not just commercial.
Five services, one measure
Each one is reported the same way: calls, qualified calls, admissions, and what each admission cost.
-
Paid search
Google Ads managed against cost per admission. Your admissions team scores calls 1 to 5 against one shared definition, and the scores feed bidding.
Paid search for treatment providers -
SEO and AI search
Organic and local search built on clinical credibility. Work is ranked by a matrix that scores 40 factors for Google and for AI answers.
SEO for treatment providers -
Websites
A six-phase build in about 7 weeks, with licensing, clinical bios and reviewer sections, and 192 QA checkpoints before launch.
Treatment center websites -
Editorial coverage
Your licensed clinicians put forward to national publications as experts, on topics they approve.

We measure what your admissions team measures
- Calls and formsCounted by source
- Qualified callsDefined by your admissions team
- AdmissionsMonthly totals your team provides
We report all three every month. When lead costs and admission costs disagree, we optimize for admissions.
72% lower cost per admission. Admissions more than tripled.
A two-facility New England addiction treatment network, paid search and SEO. Every figure says when it was measured and what it’s compared with. One client’s results: yours depend on your program, market, budget and admissions team.

Hold any agency to these questions
Including us. What a strong answer sounds like, and how we answer.
| Ask any agency | A strong answer | How we answer |
|---|---|---|
| Can you show cost per admission, with a date range and a baseline? | Real spend and real admissions, dated. Be wary of lifetime totals, or percentages with no base. | Yes. Ad spend per admission, dated, against a baseline where your data has one, and kept separate from our fees. Share collected revenue and we’ll take it to revenue by channel. |
| Do you work only in behavioral health? | Levels of care, admissions workflows and payer mix are the daily work, not one vertical among many. | Yes. It’s the only industry we serve. |
| What will you report every month? | Calls, qualified calls and admissions alongside spend, with branded search (people who already know your name) kept apart from non-branded (new demand). Totals can hide that new demand is shrinking. | Every number split branded vs. non-branded, so you can see which new demand is worth scaling. Calls, qualified calls and the admission counts your team provides, plus a weekly call with written recaps. |
| Who approves clinical content and expert quotes? | Your licensed clinicians, before anything is published or pitched. | Your clinicians approve clinical pages and the topics they’re quoted on. |
| How do you decide what to work on first? | A written method that ranks work by likely impact, not a monthly task list. | A matrix that scores 40 factors for their impact on Google and on AI answers. |
AI-powered. Human-decided.
It isn’t a list of tasks. It’s one loop: your data comes in, AI helps our strategists see more, a strategist decides, and every result comes back in to shape the next round.
Nine data sources

- CallTrackingMetrics
- Ahrefs
- Semrush
- Google Business Profile

The Client Intellect Hub
One view of your account, with freshness checks on every source.
Matrix and scorecards
40 ranking factors scored for Google and for AI answers, plus the AI Reputation, Local SEO, Review Campaign and Branded Search scorecards.
Your strategist
A strategist, not the software, makes every call.
Actions
No finding becomes a task until two sources confirm it, with the evidence linked.
Admissions
Calls are scored for quality. Your admissions team confirms admissions, reconciled to your CRM.
Then it starts again. Call scores reach Google Ads every day, and your admission counts come back in as a data source, so every round of work starts from your latest admissions.
What the machines learn
- Call scores teach Google Ads which searches lead to admissions.
- Structured data, credentials and reviews tell Google and AI answers who you are and who stands behind your content.
- Every ranking factor is scored for Google and for AI answers.
What the people see
- Your strategist sees nine sources in one view and makes every call.
- Your admissions team defines a qualified call and scores against it.
- You get calls, qualified calls, admissions and cost per admission every month.
Full visibility, every week and every month.
How working with TDI runs: one marketing director who thinks in admissions, a fixed rhythm, and the numbers we see, including when a month is soft.

Your marketing director learns your programs
Levels of care, your admissions workflow, and what your team counts as a qualified call. For paid search, LegitScript applications and renewals are prepared with your team.
-
Every week
A call with written recaps, and a quality sweep that 12 department and account leads publish and review.
-
Every month
Calls, qualified calls and the admission counts your team provides, and what each admission cost. When cost per lead and cost per admission disagree, we optimize for the admission.
Compliance built into the back end.
Treatment marketing touches patients and families at a hard moment. These safeguards are part of how our systems are built, not a checklist we run at the end.
Forms stay private.
Our tracking records which form was sent and from which page. Never what anyone typed into it.
Calls become scores, not records.
Google Ads receives the click, the conversion and the time. Never a caller’s name, number or details, and no ad audiences are built from callers.
Tags only where they belong.
On sites we build, analytics and call tracking run on the live site only, never on test copies or for your logged-in staff. Session recording stays off unless you approve it in writing.
Paperwork before patient data.
TDI staff listen to call recordings only with your signed BAA or Part 2 agreement (QSOA) on file, and only if authorized.
Vortex takes the identifiers out.
Before AI reads a call transcript, Google Cloud’s Sensitive Data Protection removes names, numbers, addresses and dates; if it can’t, the call is skipped. Patient data never goes into general-purpose AI tools.
Advertising inside the rules.
LegitScript and Google certification before any addiction treatment ad runs, and no ad targeting built on health conditions.
Are we the right fit?
We do our best work with programs that want the same thing we measure: admissions, at a cost that makes sense for your business.
A strong fit if
- You run an addiction or mental health treatment program.
- You want marketing judged by what an admission costs you, not by clicks or lead volume.
- Your admissions team will score calls against one shared definition.
- You’ll share monthly admission counts, so we can report what each one cost. Share collected revenue too, and we’ll take the reporting all the way to revenue: what each channel brought in against what it cost.
- For paid search in addiction treatment: you’re LegitScript certified, or ready to apply with our help.
Probably not a fit if
- You’re outside behavioral healthcare. It’s the only industry we serve.
- You want a guaranteed number of admissions or rankings. No agency can honestly promise one.
- You want the cheapest leads, whatever they turn into. We’d rather show you a higher cost per lead and a lower cost per admission.
- You’d rather not share admission counts. Without them, nobody can tell you which marketing is working.
